Calgary’s 40th High Performance Rodeo brings together more than 20 bold performances in theatre, dance, music, and interdisciplinary art, showcasing local and international talent. This milestone festival, produced by One Yellow Rabbit, celebrates four decades of pushing creative boundaries and transforming Calgary’s downtown into a hub of cultural magic.
Rare Beauties, choreographed by DJD Artistic Director Kimberley Cooper, is a theatrical jazz‑driven dance work that explores emotional extremes and transformation through costume, light and movement. Presented as part of One Yellow Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo, it promises a physical, moody, and beautifully strange performance by the DJD company.
