Thanks for contributing to the Explore Downtown YYC event calendar. We’re excited to help showcase the wide variety of events happening in downtown Calgary for both locals and visitors.

Please note that this is a shared submission form used by Explore Downtown YYC, Tourism Calgary, The Scene Calgary and Calgary Arts Development. This collaborative approach helps extend the reach of your event, and your submission may appear across these partner calendars where appropriate.

All submissions are manually reviews and published, so please allow up to two (2) weeks for your event to appear. Before submitting, please review the approval guidelines.

What we typically approve

An event is a great fit if it:

  • Highlights the awesome breadth of things to do downtown
  • Is tourism-driven or offers something special for visitors
  • Runs for a limited time (because unique experiences deserve the spotlight)

Our right to decide

While we celebrate all things downtown Calgary, we reserve the right to decline events at our discretion. We aim to keep the calendar fun, relevant, and clear for visitors.
