They Come Together highlights narratives of land, history, and cultural resilience. From the memory of the great flood to the teachings of Natosi & Kokimiikisom, artists employ digital tools and contemporary practices to connect the past with the present.
Hosted at The Bows in downtown Calgary, The People and the Lodge re‑asserts cultural symbols of dance and the lodge. Too often misused in mass‑produced art, these symbols are here restored through authentic cultural specificity and contemporary artistry. Appointments are required.
