DESCRIPTION:On July 1\, Calgarians and visitors are invited to gather at locations across downtown to celebrate Canada Day.  \n\nThis year’s free and family-friendly celebration features an Indigenous spotlight and powwow\, live music and will end with a fireworks show above Stampede Park. \n\nOther attractions throughout the day include the Cultural Carousel\, performances\, face painting\, food trucks and more.\n\nSee the interactive map for more! Calgary Canada Day Activities Map\n\n\nCanada Day will end with a\nfireworks show at approximately 11 p.m. launched from Stampede Park. \n \nThe best viewing location for the\nfireworks is Max Bell Centre. The\nparking lot will be open for fireworks viewing only\, with no other activities\non site. Parking is limited\, so consider walking or taking transit. Franklin\nand Barlow/Max Bell LRT stations are nearby. \n \nOnsite viewing at Stampede Park\nwill not be available due to set up of the 2026 Stampede and vehicle access\ninto west Ramsay (Scotsman’s Hill) will also be restricted.
