Public art and outdoor spaces
The Beltline showcases public art like the Chinook Arc and many BUMP murals. Discover many parks including Beaulieu Gardens, Connaught Open Street, and the rooftop High Park with its many activities and stunning views.
Chinook Arc
Enjoy the interactive and illuminated presence of the Chinook Arc. The shape of the Arc draws on the historic Beltline Streetcar that once encircled the neighborhood and the chinook arch phenomenon that sometimes blankets the sky.
HIGH PARK
Another ideal spot for outdoor photos is HIGH PARK. Located on the rooftop of the Centre City Parkade, HIGH PARK features landmark murals commissioned by BUMP, and expansive views east and west.
Barb Scott Park
Barb Scott Park is a new beautiful destination park located in southwest Calgary within the Beltline district. The park contains a new public art piece, Chinook Arc.
Beaulieu Gardens
Beaulieu Gardens are the beautiful terraced gardens located in Calgary’s beltline surrounding the historic Lougheed House.
Central Memorial Park
Central Memorial Park (also known as Memorial Park) is Calgary’s oldest park and is located in the heart of the Beltline.
