DESCRIPTION:Mexifest is a family-oriented\, multicultural arts and entertainment festival highlighting Mexican Culture. It is an opportunity to support Calgary’s Mexican community while encouraging multiculturalism among all. Mexifest aims at attracting attendees from all walks\, with a focus on promoting cross-cultural experiences and introducing the city to the finer aspects of contemporary and traditional Mexican culture. \nMexifest will take place in Eau Claire Plaza in Downtown Calgary; 3 Days of Mexican Fiesta\, Friday\, we have free admission from 10:30 am to 1 pm. Address is 101 Barclay Parade SW\, Calgary\, AB T2P 4R3\, with easy access by bike\, foot\, train\, or car. \nThe Latino Folkloric Society presents Mexifest\, an event highlighting Mexican culture. Mexifest will showcase the diversity in Mexican gastronomy\, arts\, music\, and culture. Mexifest will give Calgary a Taste of Mexico. \nTwo stages\, one for dancers\, one for live bands. 1 wrestling ring with real luchadores (wrestlers) coming directly from Mexico\, all surrounded by the most authentic and delicious Mexican food and beverages\, artisan market\, kids area\, and so much more…
