Public art and outdoor spaces
Check out Pixel Park while you’re in the area. This pixel-themed park features pickleball and basketball courts, a skate park, and an off-leash dog park, along with Calgary’s largest electric vehicle charging site. Victoria Park is also home to many BUMP murals from one of the largest in the world to gems hidden in alleys.
Rundle Ruins
Stampede Campus is home to the Rundle Ruins. They are the remnants of Calgary’s Second General Hospital built in 1899. The Stampede proudly stewards and preserves the ruins for public use. They cannot be booked for private events, but you are welcome to visit anytime.
Pixel Park
Pixel Park offers a variety of amenities for everyone. Sports fans can make use of the basketball court and pickleball facilities. Skateboarders can enjoy the skate park. There’s also a dog park for furry friends to play off-leash. Pixel Park is equipped with Tesla charging stations, catering to electric vehicle owners.
